Hi, I'm Mike Miranda, the owner and lead technician at Simple Clean Pools. I founded the business on January 28, 2020, right in the heart of Rancho Santa Margarita, and we've since grown while serving South Orange County from our home base in Aliso Viejo. With over 10 years of hands-on experience in pool cleaning and maintenance, I've worked with various companies, gained solid training, and learned what really matters to homeowners: reliable, thorough care that lets you relax and enjoy your pool without the stress.
What inspired me to start Simple Clean Pools was a genuine love for helping people. I get a real kick out of seeing the transformation-turning a cloudy, neglected pool into a crystal-clear, safe oasis where families can swim worry-free, knowing bacteria and germs are under control and all equipment is running perfectly.
Starting the business wasn't easy-I quit my job with nothing lined up, dove in during the challenges of COVID, knocked on countless doors (yes, many got slammed in my face!), and never gave up. A buddy introduced me to the industry, and from there I trained hard and built this company on one core idea: keep it simple. No long contracts, no rushed jobs-we take our time (a minimum of 15 minutes, often much longer) to brush, net, vacuum, test and balance chemicals, clean baskets and pumps, inspect equipment, handle repairs, and more. We're friendly, detail-oriented, and focused on real results.
Our typical customers include busy homeowners, vacation homes, hotels, and HOA properties across areas like Aliso Viejo, Rancho Santa Margarita, Laguna Niguel, Mission Viejo, and beyond. Outside of pools, you'll find me playing pickleball, working out, walking in the park, or cooking up something good in the kitchen.
